New to the blogging arena, we are writing a blog to share our experiences in Costa Rica and also when we travel to other countries.  My husband, Dwaine, and I (pictured below) are both retired and are currently living in Costa Rica.  We try to get out and see other parts of the country at least once a month.  Often times we are going to places with a Birding Club which we are members of here in Costa Rica and sometimes we travel on our own or with friends to see new places.  It’s amazing just how many places there are to visit here in this tiny little country that is only about the size of West Virginia or the European state of Denmark.

If you have any interest in travel to Costa Rica, or are interested in birding in the tropics, stay tuned because we will be bringing you interesting tidbits about our travels throughout the country.
